Lesson Learned

Saturday was Savanah's birthday party. She had a big huge inflattable slip and slide that I should have never got envolved with. But of course the laughter of the kids and the slashing and the giggling became too much for me to resist and I joined in the fun. Well the fun didn't take too long to turn into pain, and lots of icky leaves and grass down my shirt! If I thought I was sore Saturday, I don't know what to call what I felt on Sunday! And to make matters worse I am having some bad issues with my body parts today.
I have learned a hard hard lesson. I am not a kid anymore. Let me revise, I no longer have the body, the agility, the stamina, the flexibility, the energy. I am 30. I am sore. I even think I might be broken. My right foot is starting to swell and turn colors other than the flesh color it is suppose to be. My foot is falling asleep for no good reason!
I can not work out today. I am sad to lose the feeling in my toes, but also sad to lose the momentum I have found by working out everyday.
Note to self; it might be good to start acting your age. Also try not to break your bones, it's not good for you.
